It's not very fun when you try to hit your opponent but wind up punching air. This can lead to issues when trying to land a hit, as you might go straight past the opponent, especially if muscle memory is making you think you'll be locked on. In 3, your character dashes straight forward. In 2, if you press X, you'll dash toward your opponent. One thing I noticed pretty much immediately is the differences in the dash mechanic. However, there are small tweaks here and there that feel like downgrades in comparison to its predecessor. ![]() ![]() the actions that can be performed all feel great. I always thought 2 felt great but after playing 3 and going back, it's obvious that 3 is optimized even further and provides the smoothest gameplay of the trio. I have to start off by praising the game. I was ready to experience the final chapter in the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise and fully expected 3 to be the greatest of the bunch. I've wanted this game ever since I first played it back in about 2007, and now I finally have it. Alright, this isn't gonna be a very popular post, but I wanted to share my thoughts on the game after finally getting my hands on it.
